About

I’m Jesús Granada. I trained as an architect at the University of Seville and have been photographing architecture since 1999.
I consider both the architects’ work and my photographs a legacy worth caring for and sharing. That conviction is what keeps my passion alive after twenty-five years: photograph the ideas behind each building, what its author meant to say with it.
I have documented projects in over thirty countries, and these photographs have been published by hundreds of publishers and in thousands of publications worldwide. Since 2018 I collaborate with the editorial team at El Croquis, photographing monographs on practices such as Álvaro Siza, David Chipperfield, Caruso St John, Christian Kerez, RCR, Pezo von Ellrichshausen, Souto de Moura and Smiljan Radić, among others.
From my studio in Andalusia I manage the documentation, cataloguing and distribution of everything I produce. Every project I photograph remains accessible and traceable in the long term. It is my way of caring for this work with the same attention I put into making it.
Let’s talk
I take on a limited number of projects each year to give each one the attention it deserves.
If you have a project you’d like documented, write to:

Tell me briefly about the project, its location and the best estimated dates for it to be photographed.
I will reply personally.
