This page gathers the publications where my work has found editorial reach. I started in 1999 distributing my work personally to publishers around the world. Read more →
The first decade of the 2000s was a flourishing moment for Spanish architecture and international publishers began to take notice of its talent: Casabella, Domus, Detail, AIT, Bauwelt, A10, The Plan, C3, Mark, Azure, Architectural Digest, IW Magazine, The New York Times. In Spain, Arquitectura Viva, AV Monografías and COAM; in Portugal, Caleidoscópio.
In 2018 my collaboration with El Croquis began. Thirty monographs completed since issue 198 and more than 200 reportages — the work that demands most of my time today. Johnston Marklee, Caruso St John, Bernardo Bader, Harquitectes, Gion Caminada, Souto de Moura, Chipperfield, RCR, Aires Mateus, Anne Holtrop, Pezo Von Ellrichshausen, selgascano, Bruther, Groupwork, Alberto Ponis (†), Manuel Cervantes, Gustavo Utrabo, Héctor Barroso, Arrhov Frick, Álvaro Siza, Xaveer de Geyter or Smiljan Radić — among others.
Today the archive holds 38,000 photographs and more than 1,200 reportages over 27 years, with material published in thirty countries. My part is to deliver the reportage properly; I obsess over making sure each image says what the project asks for. The editorial decision is not mine: each cover here is the choice of an editor who is not me, and I am grateful for that trust. It is ordered chronologically and by publication type, and keeps growing every month. Read less ↑
